We may receive contact information, company details, inquiry information, part numbers, specifications, drawings, photographs, and other files you choose to provide. We may also collect limited technical information needed for website operation and security.
Email drafts and attachments
Information entered in the contact form is used in your browser to prepare an email draft. The website does not send the inquiry to AIT or upload attachments. Your email application opens with the draft details so you can review and send the message there. Add drawings or photographs in your email application. If you choose Copy inquiry, the details are copied to your clipboard. Form entries are not saved as a website preference. Once you send an email, your email provider processes the message and AIT receives the information you chose to share.
Language preference on your device
When you select EN or ES, the website saves that choice in local storage in your browser so it can remember your preferred language. Session storage records that you have visited during the current browsing session. On a first visit without a saved preference, browser language and regional or time-zone settings help select the initial language. This does not use GPS or an external IP-location service. You can change language at any time or remove the saved preference by clearing this website’s browser storage.
YouTube video
The company video initially displays a locally hosted image. The YouTube player is loaded only after you click the play button, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player. After that click, your browser connects to YouTube, which may receive connection and playback information and use storage under its own privacy practices. Privacy-enhanced mode does not make playback anonymous. You can browse the website without loading the video.

We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, evaluate technical requirements, coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers, administer orders, protect the website, and meet legal and commercial obligations.
How information is shared
